I just got my first paycheck as a nurse, and I thought you would be interested to note that my night differential pay is equivalent to my tax deduction. While I’m sure P500 is just equal to your driver’s daily meal allowance, that month of consistent night duty meant no social life, a zombie-like trance, and a couple of years probably shaved off my life. Ang saklap diba. So next time you think of using taxpayers’ money to buy a multimillion dollar house in Los Angeles or a brand new Jaguar, please refer to this payslip, as well as the payslips of the other 14 million tax-paying, middle-class Filipino citizens who actually do honest work. Maybe you should do the same too.

while driving to midweek with grandparents, a big hairy spider started to creep on the wind shield then into the car, hopped on the steering wheel.. its attacking me. we almost hit the tricycle before us. I stopped in the middle of the traffic. panicked. screaming. “lolo!!patayin mo!” I even went out of the car and get a lot of honking.hahahaha
